Greetings Everyone,
We are on a train traveling from Ghent to Rotterdam. Last night's Ghent show was another success and I've no doubt tonight will be the same....:-) considering each show has become less technical and more natural as we begin to truly live and interpret the chosen songs. The only song we all do together, at this time, is FOUR WOMEN and WOW!!!! Talk about becoming the "woman" in the verse and telling each story; it's a theatre director's dream. We bring the house down each night and leave the people wanting more. That's what we have to work on now; our group ENCORE, but with our schedule as arduous as it is and the quest for sufficient rest ever looming, there's no time or energy. We opt to rest instead with what time we have or we may have interviews to do to prepare for the next city. AAAAH, The dynamics of touring and the constant balancing act.
Altogether now: SOUND GLAMOROUS????????????????
Just a little something I thought I'd share for those of you coming to Atlanta on July 31st to see us participate at the: 21st ANNUAL NATIONAL BLACK ARTS FESTIVAL (Woodruff Arts Center Symphony Hall)
Hope to see you there,
Simone
