Thanks very much for pre-ordering 'We Should Have Gone To University' through the XM site and for being as excited about this release as we all are. As you all know, this is a rather comprehensive package that has taken a lot of effort from both band and label to get it all together, and unfortunately unavoidable problems and issues have cropped up from time to time - locating footage, tracks, etc etc
Once we got everything together it was over to manufacturing where everything was going fine and dandy until a few small but unavoidable issues cropped up delaying the finishing process. Sadly this means that there is a small delay in receiving the finished copies of the box set and therefore there will be a small delay in getting them out to you.
The general release date is now 31st August when the album will be available to purchase in all good shops around the country. Pre-order-ers will still get there copies a week in advance
of release date - it's just that this is now 18th August.
As a label it's awful having to put release dates back as we try as far as possible to be as professional a small independent label as we can be. And as a band we know it’s very frustrating waiting on something you’ve bought and not being kept in the loop about when it’s arriving - so this is why we all wanted to get in touch to apologise and thank you for your patience while the manufacturing and delivery gets finished. It's worth the wait though we
hope you agree.
