You know, Head loves the action in Reno and OK, we get VIP treatment, but you can too! The Peppermill is awesome. The carpet looks like it was designed by the late 70's magician Doug Henning with its rainbows and outer space themes. Kenny the Gardener got my video poker game back on track and I wound up coming home ahead.
We were put to the test with equipment problems but continued playing even when the bass cut out several times and the amp Touch was playing blew up half way through the set. Just to put people's minds at ease, that bass I was playing was NOT MINE!!! If our usual broken down set wasn't enough enough, Kurt Bloch came up at the end of our set and did his thing on Spend the Night Alone, Watch Your Back (Cock Sparrer) and Minnesota Strip which left people picking up pieces of their blown minds off the floor. Feel it Reno!!!
Thanks to the Okmoniks for loaning us gear, Kurt Bloch for being our secret weapon, and last, but not least, Pete Slovenly as well as Pete's mom and sister for their help. Oh yeah, the sound guy at the club looks just like Sir George Martin (Beatles producer).
