Stand Down will be going into the studio starting October 6th to begin recording there new album Worlds Away. The last 6 months has been a lot of hard work writing this new album (says Ken). But I would have to say that it has also brought some of the best writing ever out of every one in Stand Down. We really took a good hard look at what we accomplished with our last album Villains Parade, and found that it was just not enough for us. We felt we needed to make this new album bigger and better than the last two records, giving our fans what they deserve most,
(NOTHING BUT THE BEST). When Stand Downs new record (Worlds Away) is released this fall, fans will find that it is not just one man, or frame of mind trying to run the show or trying to write the music. they will hear and find that it is a collective energy and passion of every members talents involved in the new album. That is what makes music real (says Ken), and that is how the fans relate and connect to it. You can't fool the fans, they can see right through the bullshit of these posers trying to put on an act, and trying to pretend there something there not. You might as well keep digging holes for the rest of your life. The truth and passion to music comes from within every one involved in writing that music.
(Unless your Mozart !!!!). We Have Been working with Jay Evjen From Juice Mix Productions / J.M.P, on this record. He has been to every single one of our writing sessions pretty much since day one helping us produce the new album.Having Jay around has been a huge learning and writing experience. Jay is the type of producer that brings out the best in musicians. His commitment and passion to help you see the other side of the music, and to see other opinions without prejudice has really brought the best out of Stand Down as we wrote this new album.All I can say is that music is our life, without it the world would be a very boring place.Peace, Love and empathy.
