We are deeply saddened by the tragic accident that took Elizabeth Mohl's life on Saturday. Most of all, we want to offer our condolences to Elizabeth's family and friends. Our prayers go out to them and to all Lifest attendees who are hurting.

At a time like this, we know that many are asking the hardest questions. There are no easy answers. We can only look to God in the midst of so much grief and pain.

In the words of Jesus, 'Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted' (Matthew 5:4, NIV). We pray God's comfort will touch everyone affected by this tragedy.

God's Peace,
Lifest staff

my name is cherie and we were at lifest as we have been for the last 5 years. i can not stop thinking about this terrible tragedy. i feel so much sadness for everyone involved first and foremost the family of liz and then for the person running this ride i pray for that person everynight what a burden to bear so please know that we are praying for you and then also for all the witnesses . my children were nearby and will never ever forget so i can only imagine what you are going thru. i have thought and thought about why why why and this is what i came to . the emphasis of this week was 18- there was a beautiful song sung about being 18 and if you waited to give your life to God when you are an adult or "18" and then also living a life that matters. well Liz didnt make it to 18 but it sounds like she lived a life that mattered more then anyone expected at such a young age. we dont all get to make it on this earth until we are adults there isnt always that chance to give your life to God ... later ,after we are done having "fun" .on our way home a girl who came with us to lifest , more for the "fun" of it gave her life to God, she was so affected by this it made her realize that her life wasnt what it should be and she wasnt who she wanted to be and she didnt want it to be too late liz did not die for nothing she died for megan and i bet there were alot more our family loves you all with the love of God and we cant wait to meet Liz when we get to heaven

We join with all who are praying for the family and friends of Elizabeth ... may our dear Father give you comfort and strength to make it though this terrible time. Our hearts are very much with you and while we cannot share (or even begin to fathom) the depth of your pain please do understand that all of us share in this grief over the loss of a beautiful young life! May God bless you and give you a strong sense of His presence!!

Liz was one of my best friends. She was an amazing girl. She was always smiling and always making other people happy. The life of the party. I miss her so much. I'm praying for her and friends and family every night. R.I.P Liz! I love you.

It has been one week ago today since my family and I witnessed this terrible tragedy. In the few seconds that we did see Liz and her friend in the air, smiling and waving to her friends that were right in front of us taking pictures, smiling and waving back. We did see a girl w/ such adventure and zest for life. She has impacted so many lives including ours. I will never forget her. Even though I never met her. I will never forget her smile. I pray every night for her friend that was on the ride w/ her. I can't imagine what she is going thru right now. I pray she finds comfort in knowing that Liz is with Jesus now, and as christians we know that we will see her again in heaven. I also pray for strength and reassurance for her family.

To the other witnesses, we were all there for a reason. It's all a part of God's plan.

*HUGS*

With all my love,
Heather

Yes. I will pray for her family.

We didn't get to play LIFEST this year, but I saw it on the news. I was stunned and didn't know what to say, what to think.

We lost some friends at another festival several years ago, and I was just thinking how God works in the good days and the bad days.

I don't have all of the answers, but I know that God does!

Everyone is in my prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
