Our guest mix this week is provided by a 23 year old from Leicester in the UK.
Simon Hunt grew up listening to Dave’s Radio 1 show Dance
Anthems and the first track he remembers hearing was Da Hool – Meet Me
At The Love Parade at the age of 13. It was via Dance Anthems that
Simon was exposed to trance.
Since then he has learned how to create music and DJ. His
productions have gained support from the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Paul
van Dyk, Solarstone, Sean Tyas and – of course – Dave Pearce. The Burn,
released on Emalodic, was played by Dave a total of 7 weeks across
Radio 1 and 6 Music.
Simon has DJed alongside JFK and Mike Foyle and appeared on Solarstone’s radio show – Solaris International Radio.
He plans to be busy in 2009 with more productions, remixes, and mixes including a bootleg of Push – The Legacy.
