Thank you, Thank you, Thank you so much for visiting my web site.

By visiting my site you are supporting me, the independent artist. I have decided to create my own label to make the kind of music I like and more of the kind of music that you wish to hear.

When artists are signed to the major record company labels, the label dictates the mood and style of music the artist can make. It is usually in the cookie cutter style of the last big hit that sold a million copies. The record companies are interested in how many records they can sell. In other words the dollar. The problem with this is that everything created by good artists all starts to sound the same. You the listener no longer choose from a great variety. At present the music industry is stagnant. If you don't believe me listen to the radio. The record companies get the radio stations to play those records repeatedly. We have lost touch with the artistry and variations in the art of good music.

Record companies pay a high price in promoting the music that they are selling and must pass the cost on to you. That being said it is time for a change. Today, technology is allowing the independent artist like me to sell directly to you. Therefore, I urge you to support the independent artist. Tell your friends about him or her. Call your radio station and request them to play your favorite songs. Stay in touch with the artist, send e-mails and let him/her know what you like so they can stay in touch with you.

The songs will be available for download on Itunes and as an MP3 file for download soon, but you can purchase the CD now at http://www.gregoryjohnson.com or http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/gregoryjohnson After you have listened to the CD, I would appreciate it if you would take the time to write a review.
