Finally polished to release as our first single. I hope you guys enjoy. There is an Amazon link posted under the player or just above this blog . For just under 3$ you can download the three tracks. The art work was a picture taken in the middle of the prairies at sunset. Sweet view. I'll never forget it cruisen along head out the sun roof to get the shot. (captivated by Mr. Mark Karranjas)
Today we had a casual jam out on the beach in Creekside , (Whistler). We like to get back to the basics, it reminds us of why we started playing music. Playing a soft beach tune in the back ground adds to the day.
In the industry it can be a challenge not to lose yourself sometimes. You end up chasing the dream and missing the moments. When we have those beach sessions it get us back into the moments and reasons we love music. An acoustic guitar the sun shinning and a few melodies that drift in the breeze of the day.
Darren's on his way back home shortly to Peterborough for the summer to catch up with the fam and enjoy Ontario's summer. I'll (Matt) be around Whistler doing my thing. We'll be taking a little break from the show and practises. We may do some random solo show here and there I'll try to keep the site up do date. New material will get wrote over the summer with the beach vibes and free spirited feel.
Hike a mountain with a guitar on our back and write a song at the top. I find the best way to get inspired is to try and step outside of the normal everyday things you would expect.
We will meet up in a couple months and release another album with new sounds and new hooks. In the mean time we will be releasing everything on the site in the next month or so, so we'll try to keep all you guys rocking out, all summer long.
In solo project world we both have a few things in the works country and folk styles, acoustics.
