Looks like the short list for going to India became REALLY short as of this week, and I didn't make the cut.  They're only sending like 3 people.  For whatever consolation it is, I'm a backup.  Bah.

India, I hardly knew ye.  Well, not at all actually.  Le suque.

That doesn't sound like much fun at all, considering I know nothing about his job. :)

Truth be told, I'm disappointed, but not all that much. I found out that the work they'll be doing over there is the most boring work you could ever imagine doing. Also, I'm really more interested in seeing the northern half of India, the valleys of the Himalayas, Dharamsala, and all that. And now when I go (oh, and I WILL go), I'll get to go on my own terms.

So yeah, sunny side and all that. :)

If it makes you feel any better, India isn't really a cool place to visit. The only place I've been to worse off than India was Haiti...oh, and I almost forgot about San Angelo, TX.
