It's been sooo long since I've blogged I actually feel guilty! Been consumed with other things, and had to take a break for a while...new baby, Uganda trip, traveling, conferences, etc. Also just finished releasing two new Amani Records albums, one by our new artist Brad Kahler (awesome album) and one for the Uganda Water Project. Whew!

I've also been recovering from a broken collarbone that I suffered at a youth retreat in October. The last night of the retreat, at the bonfire, a kid named Al (love ya Al if you read this) challenged me to a wrestling match in the bunkhouse. How could I refuse? I was a high school and college wrestler and normally try to avoid such things, but I was put on the spot. I beat him pretty good, but slammed my shoulder on one of the moves I put on him, and broke my collarbone. Oh the glories of youth ministry!

When at home these days, I've been working on two books, and a Christmas musical for my church in Lima, NY. Here's a rundown on them:

Book 1: Just finished a new book (my first fiction) called The King's Secret. It's a book I wrote to help young people learn the grace of God and for parents to read to their kids to teach the truths of grace. I'm so pumped! I really sensed the Lord helping me write it. It will be released in January!!

Book 2: Still working ..ing The Jealous One...a teaching book about the jealous heart of God. My goal for this book is to help believers deepen their personal worship.

Book 3: Working on an important book called Discipleship By Grace. I'm using a manual I wrote by the same name as my curriculum where I teach twice a week at Elim Bible Institute.

Musical: Been asked by my church, Elim Gospel Church, to direct the Christmas production, so I wrote a musical called Lighting Henry's House. It's sort of Saturday Night Live meets Hallmark heart-warmer meets stage musical. Pretty excited about it. Wrote some original music for it as well as good 'ol Christmas hymns.
