International Music Conference NXNE invites San Diego’s Requiemme Management and Booking to Toronto, Canada for an artist showcase on Saturday June 20TH.
Now in its 15th year, The North by Northeast Music & Film Festival and Conference(NXNE) is Canada’s #1 showcase for the best new music and music-related films. For five nights in June, NXNE takes over Toronto with the hottest bands, the coolest films, and music-related ideas. Last year, 70,000 fans, artists, and industry pros flooded Toronto’s famous club district for the festival.
Requiemme will be showcasing its talent roster which includes Sami Yaffa’s gypsy circus Mad Juana, Detroit punk legends The Dogs, San Diego Blues and Soul heroes Lady Dottie and the Diamonds, and rising new artist German song writer Maren Parusel.
From Detroit Punk to German pop, Requiemme was established in June of 2008 by Mario Escovedo. He has a musical family history noted in everything from Punk Rock to Americana to Latin Jazz. He also toured for 13 years as the singer/guitarist in The Dragons.
Mad Juana, The Dogs and Lady Dottie and The Diamonds perform at The Bovine Sex Club. Maren Parusel will perform at 10PM at Toronto’s noted singer songwriter venue Free Times Café, all on Saturday June 20th.
