Office Sign Project Call to Action

For years now submissions have been slowly, slowly trickling into the Office Sign Project . I've long dreamed of a website that had millions of hand/computer crafted signs from across the giant world.

And now, due to the popularity of Trader Joes and "An Inconvenient Truth" I predict that the homemade copypaper office/tenant/warning/retail sign is on its way out. We will have to use LCD Screens or Podcasts to tell people to clean up after themselves.

Its time to do your duty and help document this age-old art before its too late. If you respond to this announcement with your mailing address you will get an official OSP Action Package.

It includes:

1 Store brand disposable 35mm camera
1 Postage paid return envelope
1 Awesome Office Sign Project Magnet (That may or may not fade over time)

All in an expertly decorated package!

By responding to the announcement and accepting the OSP Action Package you agree to return the camera – full of pictures of signs within four weeks.

If you don't return the camera within 4 weeks, your name (and maybe home address) will be posted in an on-line list titled "Enemies of Art and all things Creative."

If you can't find enough office signs to fill up 24 frames you can finish off the roll with shots of a blank wall or snapshots you take of yourself for a possible future "myspace self-portrait" photo contest.
