Hilary, whose full name is Hilary Erhard Duff, was born on September. 28, 1987. She was born in Houston, Texas to Bob and Susan Duff.

When she was young, she was involved in the Cecchitti Ballet along with her Older Sister, Haylie. Hilary's first performance, which also involved Haylie was titled the Nutcracker with the Columbus BalletMet.

Hilary's first acting role was in "True Women" in 1997. Following that in 1998, Hilary was in "Casper Meets Wendy" in which she played Wendy. After that Hilary was in many other movies, and even Guest- Starred on many famous Television shows, like "Chicago Hope," "American Dreams," "Frasier," "George Lopez," and "Joan Of Arcadia." Hilary's big success came when she got the title role in the television show, "Lizzie McGuire." Hilary recently appeard in the movie "Material Girls" with her Haylie in 2006. In 2007 she will appear in two movies, "War, Inc.," and "Foodfight!." In 2008, she will be in a movie called "Talking With Dog."

Along with success in Acting, Hilary has also had success with music. Hilary's singing career has taken her very far. Hilary has come out with four albums; "Metamorphosis," "Hilary Duff," "Most Wanted," and "Dignity."

Hilary has also received awards for her work, and is involved in different charities. She has endorsed a few products, and appeared on many magazine covers. Hilary even has her own clothing line, and her own perfume.
