U-M computer software matches kidneys to hard-to-match recipients. This video is on you tube and has already been profiled on TV 8. We are trying to get the word out about this: An organ matching software program that was developed at the University of Michigan is providing a new opportunity for some people needing a kidney transplant. It matches two people - an incompatible recipient/donor pair - with another pair in the same situation. My husband and I met recently with the other couple after we had surgically swapped kidneys in this way. It saved my life!! Please view the video at:
