The more that I move further away from the complete nonsense of the
RGM/
ATI/
SCAAAM the more I can see how the entire charade is based upon
instilling further dependencies. And, the more one is dependent upon the dogma at large, the more one is quite defensive of it.
But it all really comes to a head when one faces down a Buchmanite face-to-face. And I don't mean any mere faceless exchange of
ASCII plaintext. I'm talking about infiltrating "the rooms" and asking one of these oldtimers "
in Recovery" that
Big Question while facing them down eye-to-eye:
Considering all of the bad consequences that you have endured by your own consumption of alcohol, are you going to ever drink again in this lifetime or never again?
That's when I can see the fear in their eyes. It's been said by people in the know that the eyes are the windows into one's soul. It's so true as one can literally read the sheer panic of someone who tries to answer that
Big Question.
Sometimes it gets worse than that. I've had the experience of having a Buchmanite who with 26 years of Time and working as a CAC for a DUI offenders' program literally turn into something not human. His face literally turned the reddest color of red, his eyes and the veins in his neck and forehead bulged out. He wound up going from someone who appeared to be in full command of his mental faculties during his indoctrination sessions to something
very angry and ugly. And, if given the opportunity, a propensity towards
further violent reaction.
Neither could answer that
Big Question in a satisfactory manner. Both were extremely evasive and obviously uncomfortable being held accountable for their own actions. They can't answer "
I'll NEVER drink again" simply because that self-doubt has been throughly brainwashed into them. Likewise, if surrounded by their peers, they'll do their part to talk them out of that decision. Thus, decisiveness is pathologized.
Because of the politically-correct
Big Lie within
AAmerican culture, that anyone who has a problem with any recreational drug (that includes alcohol) needs a
Good Program in order to stay off of that junk, further dependency develops.
ALL of the time those very same programs are staffed by the same True Believers who will go all pear-shaped when presented with the
Big Question.
To tell people who want to learn how to quit that they can just quit is considered
blasphemy in light of all of that nonsense. Stating that
Big Question is akin to bringing someone down back to Earth as someone wielding a chainsaw when dealing with infantile treehuggers stuck up in trees.
It's just a simple way of bringing extremists down, one way
or the other. Expose that wicked side of their personality and one can see quite clearly that
NONE of them are to be trusted regarding matters of human life and liberty itself.

NOTE: For the record, I'm not against the environment but I can't resist being as un-PC and blunt as possible in regards to the nonsense of extremism inany of its forms. If pollution were good we'd all be sipping on vats of it by now...or are we soaking in it already? I'm just against its wacky fringe element that claims to be against industry and globalism yet embraces technology such as lead-laden computers and quickly-obsolete cell phones. I love nature and would not like to see it destroyed either. But please don't play the role of a soon-to-be martyred fundamentalist wackaloon. It makes y'all look like a silly bunch of eco-terroristas. You aren't Che Guevara so try passing along some fully-researched reason instead. You'll appear as a mature and reasonable adult and win far more respect. Maybe you'll create positive change, too. --db]
