It finally arrived for me in The ARID Site's PO Box. After nearly a month of waiting this 4-DVD set is now on my desk (I'm betting that many Buchmanites laid their $30 down for this). And, frankly, I thought it would be tough to debunk.

What helps is that the set comes with a 12-page guide with all of the usual talking points of the polycarbonate-entombed propaganda. And if anyone has read one of my Articles y'all know how I love debunking stuff point-by-point.

I'll just throw out an assumption about this set: I sincerely doubt that any person who quit on their own has been interviewed. Instead I'll probably witness a bunch of so-called "experts" who can talk a good game with many professional credientials after their names. Yet, in the end, none will know dick about how to end an addiction once and for all. The main talking point is to claim that addiction is a "brain disease", where indoctrination into a pro-addiction religious cult is the "treatment" for it. Which, of course, is the Big Lie.

The truth is that if anyone is having a problem with ANY recreational drug use or compulsive behavior they can simply reduce their consummation of that pleasurable vice or just flat out quit! That's NOT a treatment but a simple choice available to every addicted individual at NO COST at all. Right here. Right now. Anyone can solve and end their problem on their own.

After all, what do I know? I'm only a Ph.D. (Phormer Drunk) who quit on my own and also a dissatisfied former customer of addiction "services". The only things the "experts" know is just the same procrastination nonsense of those who keep coming back like good little Groupers. They will never know of the people who leave and break free of the twin bondage of addiction and "recovery".

And now I have the 4-disc set waiting for me to witness the carnage of the current pro-addiction system yet again. The HBO documentary "Rehab" was bad enough (I digitized the VHS videotape on which I recorded that propaganda film). Now here's 4-DVD's worth of more crap.

And, if you are interested in collecting this kind of propaganda, you can go to the HBO Store and buy the DVD set. When you checkout use the promotion code WELCOME10 to save 10% off the order.

Or, I'm sure you'll eventually find it on a P2P network for free and deny HBO/NIDA/NIAAA some money by downloading it... (I don't condone that but I'm open-minded enough to acknowledge that it could happen) ;->

I'll write an Article debunking it in about a week or so.
