Hi All.

Just wanted to mention how lucky I've been to get to know Amy Lee. I remember the moment I heard her voice (while at a spin class feeling the hate and then that VOICE delivered me!) Well, come to find out she's a great heart and a music geek like myself (!)We've bonded a bit in friendship and music: we found ourselves discussing and loving songs, trying ideas together.I love the intensity of our two voices together. Really, it's quite the energy-vitamin shot. So, I had the fortune of her presence at my last show in Long Island. We sang a couple of covers (Neil Young and a traditional Appalachian song). Loved it, loved it, loved it. Thank you, Amy, and hope there is more where that came from.

Now I'm in the cocoon of the writing-mind. I am loving being here. Lately I'm finding wings in new songs, working and envisioning the next album. This is what I love to do, and I feel very lucky. Coming through the darkness with diamonds...Many thanks, and love,
Paula.

Hello Paula,....You and Amy were amazing together at the Bolton Center. It's wonderful to see two great talents bonding:-) That was such a nice surprise! What a beautiful intimate performance you gave. I feel so incredibly fortunate because I even had front row seats!! You have quite a gift Paula. I love your energy and passion for life. Can't wait to see you again. ....Please check out my tunes. You have inspired me in soooo many ways. I remember first hearing about you from my friends that went to BU. We all graduated in 96' and you were first starting to shine. My how you shine now. You're amazing. Love you!!....Josette

It was very cool that you sang with Amy, i actually got a good picture of it in my pics section in the "Paula Cole" folder. I am glad to hear you are working on new songs, i wasn't sure if/when you would be doing that. It's interesting to hear that someone's voice moves you because so many people are moved by your voice. Amy Lee does have a beautiful voice and the guys do love her because of her bright blue eyes, but honestly Paula your voice has much more soul and passion than most women singers i've ever heard and that is the kind of voice that moves me. You should do a lot more shows, if you are up to it, people really love to see and hear you. But you need to get the word out more somehow, i know if people knew you were still making music, and still doing concerts they would go.

Yea, my sister recognized Amy Lee was at your Joe's Pub show. It's good to find someone who inspires you. I'm listening to Aretha right now windering when you're going to cover 'Spanish Harlem' because I know you will kill it.

I remember years ago when I first heard your song "Ordinary" and I was blown away at the intensity of emotion and loved the lyrics. I sat in the car and waited and waited to find out who sang this song?! I remember it was on WBOS. I was sitting in front of a boyfriend's house at the time, at it was already seeming to be fitting in some parts of the song, lol. Finally, the DJ said "Ordinary" and "Paula Cole", I wrote it down and went out and bought the CD the next day...and I've been singing your songs in the shower ever since, good acoustics;)I know you don't get too much on air play but that's just because your music is so passionate and creative and for some reason the radio executives still think the audience is wanting sugar coated candy wrapped music AND WE DON'T...that's why you and Amy hit it off, she's got that emblazoned passion too...best of luck Paula...keep on doing YOUR thing I love it...Where do I put this fire??
