It's finally happening....our new record, produced by Rod Sherwood of Au Revoir Simone fame, will be available for sale on our website as of November 7th. We recorded it at Headgear studios in Brooklyn, and also at various homes and in Roberta's Pizzeria in Bushwick. There are sixteen people on this record, eleven songs, one cello, and some chirping birds if you listen closely.

On the 7th of November, we will also show you our new video for the song "Open Wide." This video involved some major construction and a real motorcycle. It was created and directed by our friends Arlene and Marcin, from TwoCan Productions. They also made this video : http://www.ashkonhulahoop.com/ . Our friend Karen did all our makeup and Maya styled it, and Anouk and Helen did the animal wrangling. Plus Jordan and Rod and Michael and Eric all helped out with the construction and dolly-driving and body-doubling. It was pretty mega.

You might have noticed my face plastered all over this page now. It's because our friend Eric Luc took some pictures of me that I actually like. We went out to Fort Tilden in the Rockaways, and he used a real film medium-format crazy Russian camera. It was magic.

This has been a really exciting year, putting all these things together. We couldn't have done it without that help. So thanks everyone, and buy the record, and we'll see you soon.
