Review from our show at The Luminaire, London - 21st July 2009:

It was finally time for the last act: Lo-fi Culture Scene. Like their predecessors this powerpop quintet has been studying hard from the best manuals of indie rock: The Strokes, Bloc Party, The Smiths... very Good Books to read and learn from. 'Yes', the opening song immediately conquered the young dudes leaning in the front row singing the lyrics to each song all along the set. 'Silhouettes' is an explosion of circular guitars and manic drumming and Jacob, the front man, hits the song with a sincere voice incorporating both style and vulnerability of Lo-fi's dark danceable music. - Remote Goat

"Review"/Sentence about us from our performance at the Underage Festival:

Early birds Lo-Fi Culture Scene play the Topman stage to a crowd riddled with excitement and memories of their stirring set here last year. Singer Jacob Wheldon and co even throw in a cover of The Killers' "Smile Like You Mean It" for good measure - NME
