here through PayPal or you can wait until it is available through CD Baby, I-Tunes, Amazon & other stores. We will let you know when it is available through these other outlets.
The track list includes Brian Boru's March II, Silkie, The Fountain (an original by member Jeff Belding), Bonny Portmore, Skippin' Kiersten (an original by member Jim Lestrange), Saratoga Romance (an original waltz by member Jeff Belding), Wind in the Willows (a song by contemporary UK folk singer/songwriter, Alan Bell), Far Away (an instrumental by Peter Jung of Hudson, NY), Silver Dagger, Miss Noble (a Turlough O'Carolan instrumental), The Water is Wide, LaRue's Lament (written by members' Jim Lestrange and Lise Winne) and Living to Eternity (written by members Jeff Belding and Lise Winne).
Half of the album is made up of Celtic tunes and instrumentals, thus the cover design with Celtic knots in the border. The rest are traditional pieces, 2 covers and songs written by band members.
2 of the songs were written about Saratoga: The Fountain (inspired by the fountains from Saratoga Springs, NY where there are a lot of ornate fountains throughout the city and beyond... many of the fountains were created during the Victorian era... the native Americans and the Victorians believed the water of Saratoga had healing powers as it came deep within the earth and each had its own taste) and Saratoga Romance (a waltz inspired by Saratoga and the Dance Flurry Festival where we first formed the band).
The recording was done simply, without protools, performer or auto-tune or other cutting edge studio "tricks".
We hope you enjoy the new tracks on the site. They are from the album.
