http://squareonenewsservice.com/1004.htmlGreetings, Mostly Moptop fans! Here we are again. We've been seeing most of you in real life as opposed to on these sites and what not. That being said, today is 9.9.09 and that means that both Beatles: Rock Band (from Harmonix) and a remastered boxed set of Beatles CDs (14 total - available in separate stereo and mono sets) have been released by Apple. We may as well declare September 9 a brand new holiday in this world - maybe BEATLES DAY or something.
The idea of number nine figures prominently throughout the world of all things Beatle. Recently, Moptop Anthony wrote an article about the prevalence of this "9" number throughout all of Fab Four-ness (although there's always talk of a "Fifth" Beatle, and Four plus Five equals Nine, doesn't it?) . . . so here's a link to Moptop Anthony's article "Beatle John and 'Number Nine' ") . . . click link below.
We are playing at least one show a month every month for the next 9 months (there's that number again) . . . and our next big shoo (I mean show) at the Lennon Center in Dix Hills will be on Sat., March 20, 2010 . . . the show will be called "Let It Be(fore & After): A Fab Four Song Experience" and we hope to see you there (as opposed to here and everywhere else too) . . .
Moptop Anthony was just interviewed on Texas Radio (where they have the Big Beat, according to Mr. Mojo Risin') in Brownsville yesterday about all things Mostly Moptop . . . maybe we'll come to Texas next -- if anyone in Texas heard the interview and/or is reading this, write back and let us know . . .
Enjoy your wonderful BEATLES DAY with people (and the music) you (and we) love...
