I recently signed up with GoGirls MasterMind Group, and thought it was so great that I had to post a blog about it!
 So here I have been sitting on my butt, not really doing much in music after my father passed this New Years. Nothing really inspired me, or grabbed me out of my funk.  So I haven't been out there getting myself any gigs, and confidence keeps sinking further and further away from me. About a week went by when I received an email from gogirls stating that MasterMind was offering a FREE one month trial, and figuring I had nothing to lose by signing up, why not try it?  I'm glad I did, because it was VERY uplifting for me.  I was able to sit down and chat with other musicians; finding out what inspired them, and the different steps they are taking to get closer to their success.  In the conversation, I was really getting down on myself with expectations, and felt like these women were WAY more ahead than I was!  So at one point, I went and sat in my shower, and closed the curtains, and hid in my crazy illusion that I wasn't good enough.  I really did hide in my shower! After several minutes of  listening to them talk about their goals, and what they were currently working on, well it inspired me to step out of the shower, and lend a break to my confidence (or lack there of).  I felt like that call helped me in many ways to get out of my funky attitude.  I actually have goals now!  And inspired me to put my gift out there again.  I really liked the connection, and the one-on-one interaction.  Madalyn Sklar offered a PLETHERA of information on how to get from point A to point B, and also is one of the best motivators and mentors I have yet experienced.  So thank you to Madalyn and to the gogirls of that call, and I am looking forward to next month, when we can do it all again!  For those interested in getting one step closer to success, just join gogirls elite, and sign up for MasterMind.  Cuz chicks rock!
