Diy xmas
Okay so I like kitsch and weird fun stuff all year round why should Christmas be any different. I have a cheap and fast  (two of my fav. Adjectives esp. when combined) to make xmas ornaments that don't look store-bought and snoresville.

All you need is:

Circular gift tags (pictured in the diy picture set)
Temp tattoo of yr choosing ( I like gross boy stuff… something that 8 yr old bully would wear on his arm like snakes, eyeballs, and flies.)
A wet napkin or towel…. Or spit and finger (lets face it is very diy
Scissors
And Music (I chose Free Kitten's Sentimental Education and The Rondelles, but any feminist or queer friendly band worx)

First you cut out the image on the temp tattoo so it obviously can fit onto the tag

Second set it, wet it and forget it (but only for like 15-20 before it dries…. but always read yr tat's instructions because all are different)

Thirdly pull off paper gently and perfecto! You have a really awesomely cute ornament!

I also like getting Lotteria cards (Mexican bingo these cards which are also going to be my next tattoo can be found @ that botanica you never go into or @ any respectable swap meet!), I prefer the miniature cards for this project, and basically all you have to do is glue the backs of the cards together. This way if it spins there is an image on each side of the ornament. To hang them all you need is a needle and thread to make a hole and loop the thread (even a safety pin will work).
Okay now the last one which takes like 3 braincells is this: take a cassette tape and pull out the actual recording tape (as to not weight down the tree's real or plastic branches) again I prefer the smaller version (handheld recorder tapes) but what ever hangs yr holly. Once yr done w/ that all you have to do is write "to:" and "from :"  or "xmas 2007" on them and hang it.
