Kevin Lewis, a master guitarist / bassist from San Antonio, one of Tracy's closest friends and musical cohorts since 1979(!), will be joining the Dallas band for studio recording of the first Trace Elements full length CD release, "Welcome to the Color Bar" (working title). A more soulful player you'll never hear, Kevin's 30 plus years as a pro musician have included stints with Ruben V Band, Rudi Harst, "Butch" Morgan, Toat Lee Bluz. Mombassa Code, Blue Streak, Exit and many more great San Antonio lineups. Currently Kevin also appears with Dana Clark, his incredibly talented wife, in The Lewis and Clark Expedition.
Kevin has been an integral part of the Trace Elements demo recordings over the years and is featured on guitar on all of the demo songs playing on this myspace page. He also contributed fretless bass to the original tune heard here called "The Flood."


He'll join the esteemed Dallas band of Sparky Montoya - keyboards, John Echols - bass Mike Beall - drums, Trace - vocals, for sessions at January Sound in Addison, Texas.
This lineup will also be featured in a live showcase at the 4th Annual Texas B-roll Shindig in March.
