Following recent international confirms such as
Fever Ray, múm and
Datarock, Loop are happy to be able to announce a few acts from closer to home.
First
up, returning to their home town following their packed out Great
Escape show, will be the very highly rated Brighton 4 piece,
Mirrors.
Taking influences from Kraftwerk and the luminaries of the early 80s
electronic scene such as OMD and The Human League, Mirrors make lush
synth pop and put on a show that really has to be seen. If the massed
ranks of industry insiders at recent shows are anything to go by, a
very bright future lies ahead for these boys.
Mirrors are joined on the line-up by fellow Brightonians,
ELIZABETH, the solo project of a Scandal in Bohemia’s multi talented singer Elizabeth Walling, local post jazzers,
John the Savage and the excellent afrobeat tinged trio,
Win Prizes (formerly Sooks).
From slightly further a field, London, Loop has added cheeky chappy,
A Man Like Me, spiky Electro poppers
Battant and DIY instrument maker, one man band and David Lynch Devotee
Thomas Truax.
A few more acts have also been added to the
Loop Late line up with the addition of local party starter
Blah Blah Blah, Bloggers Delight’s Casper C, Glasgow’s finest,
Linus Loves and a special
múm Dj set. Many more acts still to be announced!
With the sun popping out tickets have really started to fly, so if you haven’t already grab one at
