I know, I'm probably asking for it... but apparently my job is not just to follow my muse and produce the unique blend of sounds I hear in my head, but also to describe what the end result sounds like so other people can decide if they would care to hear it. I'm probably not the best person to do that because of all my biases and blind spots. I know what I intended, but whether or not I hit the mark is probably not for me to say.
