Greetings from the Blueline!

The Greater Cincinnati Blueliners Club is branching out just a bit.  Our group members are interested in hockey at many different levels.  Some are pure NHL fans.  Some long for days gone by of AHL hockey in Cincinnati.  Some are ECHL fans, supporting the Cyclones.  Some are die-hard Miami Redhawks fans.  Some follow the club teams at UC, Xavier, and/or NKU.  Some are high school or Junior-B fans.  All have one thing in common.  We want hockey to live, and flourish, in this area.

Let's face it... MySpace.com is the Internet's best example of narcissism run amok.  This is where people go to, quite frankly, advertise "Me".  And when two people who are advertising "Me" like the "Me" that someone else is advertising, a friendship can develop.

That's what the GCBC is hoping to take advantage of.  Not just here on MySpace, but at the hockey rinks, sports clubs, and dinner tables around the region as well.  Only this time, the "Me" we are advertising is a group of people who (hopefully, just like you) have a passion for the sport of hockey - at whatever level you enjoy it.
