Some days you see something that makes you look again. Today is one of those days. After reading an article about a backpacker surge in South Australia, I checked out a poll where readers were asked "Where is the best place to visit in South Australia".

The results were stunning.

Our wine regions came up trumps with nearly a third of all votes, closely followed by Kangaroo Island.

But Central Adelaide, the capital city of this fine state, only scraped together 2% of the vote!

Surely with results like that we have no choice but to admit that Adelaide has well and truly fallen behind.
