Then:
She walked quietly through the darkness, her skin damp, her hair black as a starless night hung limply at her sides. She was still adjusting to this form, it seemed, heavy to her full of life yes, but cumbersome. The leaves freshly fallen crunched under her bare feet, the night chill with the first breath of autumn brought to her the sense of being alive of being human. Slowly as she walked she reached out to her children, her chosen. She should feel them even though she was still miles away from their circle, but she could not. Reaching out farther to the source of all things her breath caught as it was not there either. Panic gripped her, she could not feel the Mother or the Father. Her chosen should be crying out in despair as they were cut off. But if that were the case then she should not be here either. Quickly skimming over the ground faster than any human ever could she traversed the miles to the sacred spot of her followers. The realization of the scene took a second to register. Her followers, Her Chosen lay sprawled as if thrown their bodies mangled their blank eyes staring and their faces locked into grimaces of unimaginable pain. Resisting the urge to weep she reached into her core to touch the North and bury the Bodies and return them to the Earth. Screaming with frustration as she realized that the North was blocked to her too. Tears leaked out of her eyes as she was once again denied the power of East andthe South. What could have possibly happened? The only thing that could have happened was to...but it couldn’t be no one could do that, it was impossible. Quickly she stepped into the circle and used her innate abilites to see the flow of time and trace back what happened. Though the view was murky she traveled the pathway.
Five Hours before then:
"Come on Andrea." Thorne said. "We have to get all this in place before the moon rises" Cocking her head to one side the young Andrea looked at him. "Thorne I HAVE done this once or Twice, we’ll get it done. Don’t have a puppy." Thorne shook his head and went back to setting the altar in the north. "When will the others get here? It’s not fair we do all the work." Andrea complained in her usual nasal tone. "I don’t know Andrea all I know is that Ivy told us we needed to get this done, and I don’t know about you but I don’t screw around with Ivy." "Speaking of Ivy why do you guys get all the cool names? I mean youre Thorne, There’s Ivy, And Smoke, and Cougar when do I get a cool name? Andrea does not exactly strike fear into the hearts of men." Laughing, Thorne straightened up and smiled. "Andrea we earned our names. You will receive yours when the time comes, SHE named us we didn’t choose the names. Maybe if you spent more time working and less time complaining, SHE would take notice.
That’s All for Today. Tune in Tomorrow Sometime for the next part
