In some parts of the world today is a day when many stop to reflect on the great battles of the past that have been waged by previous generations to ensure our freedoms.  So it is in the spirit of this that we offer this following post.  A memorial to those who have toiled, bled and died to free humanity from the Military Industrial Complex.  For it is only when this abomination is finally defeated that the citizens of Earth will have a chance at some peace in their lives. It is the only true conflict that can 'End All Wars' and it has been raging for some time now.

So we take this opportunity to pause and remember some of the larger battles and uprisings that have been waged over the decades in the long rebellion against the Complex. Sadly there is not enough room to fit the great many battles that have been fought, and are still being fought, to this end.  There has been no magic bullet decisive victory to date that has led to the downfall of the Complex and indeed it is more powerful than ever today.  (However one must not lose hope and must keep on fighting as some headway has been made.  The very fact that an all out Nuclear holocaust has not yet engulfed the world is because of this constant rebellion that keeps restraining the Complex somewhat in its endeavours.)  So lacking somewhat in space and time we have selected some of the better known and larger battles.  This is in no way to lessen or demean the impact of others that the viewer may feel are 'missing' from this list. Similarly the focus of this post on Euro centric resistance is purely to do with the cultural understandings of the posters and does not mean it is a better struggle than those that occur in the third world to the same end.  We just don't know enough about other cultural understandings of the struggle.

Not all the battles that are remembered here took place in a physical sense but were in fact metaphysical battles.  We cast no judgment on which tactic is better. In fact we are of the opinion that only a balanced approach with both tactics used can ever hope to achieve liberation for the human race.  So those who risked their limbs in physical conflict are no better or worse than those who risked their minds in the metaphysical realms that can be created against the Complex.  As long as the participants were aware of the liberational movement they were involved in they are remembered with much love and thanks for their tireless efforts.

So on with the memorial. You will see 'The People' in times of joy and victory over the Complex and you will see them in times of defeat and pain.  But as yet neither side can be said to have achieved a victory over the other.  So this long weary conflict drags on.  But for now we pause to remember those who gave their all for the cause.
