Current mood: contemplative Category: Life
This is what I've been working toward and where I am at now.
I at one point supported Bush but was unsure of anything. I hadn't looked into stuff myself. I've since developed my own ideas.
My mom used to work for the police department in Clovis, New Mexico where I lived until my fifth grade year. I used to like cops, but I don't trust them anymore... They have no helped me once even though we've called on them for help. I've been verbally harassed by cops more than a few times.
I believe anarchy is possible if planned carefully. I don't have an opinion on rather it would work better than democracy or any other form of government, but I would be willing to experiment with it if a volunteer peaceful anarchist civilization was to be started on a uninhabited island or something.
I'm interested in almost any topic you can hand me. My primary means of income is freelance work on the Internet. I like this because it gives me complete freedom. I work when I want, how much I want to, as much room for advancement as I want... Doing what jobs I want. I have always thought it would be nice not to have to follow man-made time... As I don't believe in follows my natural sleep schedule. No alarm clocks.
I want to learn as many skills as I can, perhaps get my associates degree in every subject they offer at the community college... I want to be able to make anything out of anything. I have a lot to learn when it comes to that... Sowing, wood carving, welding, electronics, pottery, etc.
As far as current skills go... I can rap fast and clear (but lack confidence), and type 153 WPM... There should be more skills, it's pathetic.
I have loved motor vehicles all my life, especially cars... My grandpa on my mom's side owned a custom car shop... My grandpa on my dad's side owned a car repair shop. I got a four-wheeler when I was 7, but it was traded in because it was old and unsafe. So, I got a dirtbike when I was 8, traded in for a bigger four-wheeler when I was 12. The first time I drove a car by myself was a 5-speed manual S-10 Pickup truck when I was 10. I prefer manual transmission cars and automatic recreational vehicles.
I don't do drugs or drink, I prefer not to alter my mind in any way. I rarely drink caffeine and am attempting to give up High-Fructose Corn Syrup, then carbonated beverages... But that last one might be next to impossible for me.
I am a vegetarian. I've always wanted to be but thought it was too hard... My girlfriend is one now though and I didn't see it as fair to her... And beyond the moral/ethical aspects of it, there is hygiene, social, environmental, health, food safety, religious, and economical reasons to it. Update March ??, 2009: I've been a vegetarian for a year now... Recently visited a place called VegaDeli in Chesterfield (100% vegan food) alongside swinging back into my political-side... I couldn't help but go all the way and become vegan. Hippy has started with me also.
I don't associate with an organized religion because I have not found one that suits me (besides Flying Spaghetti Monster, rAmen!). Instead, I prefer to pull ideas from whatever I find and keep it relatively simple. I believe in karma, I believe in one main God, I believe in lesser gods, or perhaps the Saints of Christianity... I believe in past lives, spirit guides, telepathy, evolution, the Akashic Records (in the Astral Plane), and Jesus. I also believe in a balance of the world, in the fashion of a yin-yang... Which means there should be a female version of Jesus also.
I believe strongly in personal freedoms as long as it doesn't hurt others directly. Drunk driving kills others, second hand smoke kills others. Smoking privately in your home with other smokers, then dying of lung cancer is the risk you took. I consider people mourning over your death as indirect.
I like to think I stay calm in most situations but can be a little too quiet-spoken at the same time. I've been working on it.
I don't consider myself a pessimist. I'm a realist and what you would call a "futurist". If I'm ever looking back, it's to make the future better. I have a lot of big dreams for the future, rather it's my personal life or being a part of the movement that turns this country/world back in the right direction. I think technology, when used correctly, will solve most of the world's problems.
I like art, especially symbolic and abstract art. I like reading but don't do it nearly enough. I am open-minded when it comes to music but highly prefer faster/dynamic music and the vocals must be clear if there are any.
I like seeing creativity and try to stretch mine as much as possible. I like dyed hair and tattoos. I think largely gauged ears look weird.
I hope to one day soon change my whole style, before college. I want to wear clothes that actually show a part of me, more than just something I bought from a store with a gift card, or something somebody else bought for me.
I don't like having long hair or short hair. At the bottom of ears/right above my eyes is probably perfect. I want red streaks in my hair. I want to pierce my left ear, and gauge it to 14 (13 if possible). I also want to get my lip pierced, on the bottome, on the side. I want to get one full sleeve tattoo, dissipitating/fading out slowly when it reaches my back/chest. I also want to tattoo three rings on my fingers.
I want to follow a new calendar. I thought of it on my own one day and I've come to find out there's a movement to switch to it. It will have 13 months instead of 12. 28 days a month. It follows the moon perfectly and makes much more sense for many reasons. I plan to start following it when the New Year happens for it in what the normal calendar calls July.
I regret not dropping out of high school as soon as possible, at 15 with parent permission, 16 without. My current situation is this: I graduate high school with a ~1.5 GPA, good for nothing besides the diploma. I go to community college for two years, where I get A's. This is because I wouldn't get accepted into a university and so I can get the first few general classes out of the way for cheaper. With that, I move on to a university and graduate from there. If I would of dropped out, my situation would of been this: Drop out, ged GED, get better paying job... From there either concentrate on work to raise money for the future/college, or move onto college as soon as possible. In this way, I would be years ahead of the socially correct path I am finishing now. Update: I finished and I could still say I regret it but I'm going to attempt to not regret anything.
I hope to one day know more languages, be a part of something bigger, live in New Town with Hippy and our Pomeranian, Teddy... Have the car I want, and run my own business from home with plenty of time to enjoy life and learn what I can. I hope to retire around 35-40 years old because of smart investing. I'm not out to be hugely rich, I'm out to live life to the fullest, learn as much as I can, and leave a positive mark behind. Update: I don't think I want to live in New Town anymore... There have been more cops there and the symbolism frightens me. We also now have two Pomeranian's, Teddy and her daughter Sound. Sound is fixed, Teddy still needs it. We also have a cat (half-rescued, ha) named Hunter (he wears a pink collar and always looks angry no matter what.)

I have a lot to learn, and not enough time in this lifetime to do it.
