Radiospace uses granular synthesis to chop up a radio signal (in this case broadcast shortly after I moved to Shanghai in 2004).
Psalmus uses random procedures to shuffle up bell and voice recordings, text in this case is Psalm 107, premiered at Sound Currents, November 2005, performed again (better) at NOIShanghai, May 2006. All sounds are recorded on stage as part of the performance (i.e., nothing is pre-recorded).
Mobile 2 (for any number of players on any instruments, variable duration) is built around transcriptions of the cries of street vendors who used to pass near my first apartment in Shanghai.
