It's a new year and boy, have we got some newness here too ! We got new dates for you to check out.....new tunes for you to listen out for......heck, we got a new powerhouse drummer for you to shake a rattle at ! Here's the lowdown....
New Gigs:
Saturday 28th Feb: The Crown, Horsell.  Home of the Scruffs, and it's gonna get torn up again. Are you local ? Then get your Scruffy behind there early, it's gonna be jumpin'. Festivities start at 9pm.
Thursday 5th March: The Grey Horse, Kingston. Applescruffs debut gig at one of Surrey's premier music venues. Headline set from 10.30pm.
Thursday 19th March: The 100 Club, Oxford Street, London. The band return to the legendary 100 club, where the great & the good have gone before...and now it's our turn. Tickets are £8 advance from www.ticketweb.co,uk, onstage time: 8.30 - 9pm.
Also in the melting pot are dates at 229 club (London), The Half Moon (Putney) and Boileroom (Guildford).
New Tunes:
We've got lots of new songs that are going to be debuted at our upcoming shows. Listen out for 'Autumn By The Riverside'/'Capitol'/'Magpie' and more, and let us know what you think !
New Recruit:
Fraser Robb joined the band recently on drums, although it seems that he's always been there (d'know what I mean ?). Fraser has previously played with ace three-piece 'The Guilty Ones' as well as being an in demand session player and professional drum tutor. Suffice to say, he's Scruffy to the max....
