dearest rachel...
first of all i love you and i miss you. i am out on the road again and having a hell of a time. after amazing shows in both duluth and fargo, i hitchhiked home to minneapolis and spent a quiet night at home. monday night i went out on the town and had what can only be described as a gloriously confusing evening. the germs, the banner pilots and in defence, some drunken bike riding and a couple of things that might affect our engagement. don't worrry, you are still the only girl for me.
anyway, after a couple of hours sleep, we began gettin shit together for tour. getting the van loaded and picking folks up, we set out for cousin larry appleton wisconsin. we got there just in time for the opening band then got to see the amazing 24 inch pythons and then we played. good times, we found a nice little bar for some good night cocktails. we watched andy richter controls the universe and then wedriftted off to sleep.
next day we woke up in the warm wisconsin sun drove down to the redgrantie quarry and did some swimming and sunburning. beautiful clear water and some cliffs to jump off of. quick drive to chicago. had some tacos and margarita's with ryan young and renae. off to a great show at reggies, and quite the party afterwards. finally fell asleep at like seven, and woke up dreaming of you. which brings us to today. off to elgin, partytime.
