Bar the door
Seldom felt terror hunts tonight. I can hear its cry as a never ending call for bloodshed in my mind
Bar the door and let come all who would dare tear away my soul
They'll find its not so easy anymore.
How great a man you are / how great a man you'll be
Let all dissolve in history / a shadow in time
Bar the door this terror is mine to face alone, it grows with each new passing day
As the words gain strength the walls fade away.
Gird the defenses there is no sleep to be had this night, I'll be lucky just to see the sunrise
I've lost all pretense of understanding the writing on the wall
Words transcending space and time behind this goddamned existence of mine.
It has begun / and I feel that i'm not strong enough to hold on
This is for the lives, shattered ruined lives bound to your order
This is a beginning / a new beginning
Close outside the door a chorus is singing; "This is for a mother, a coward who left us to die in broken humility. For a noble father whose death remains unavenged. Whom you buried betrayed and alone."
Awaken now at the end of time to break the line between the past and future
Awaken now lord and fulfill your promise, now be reborn
This terror is mine to face alone.

Fate of the union

I envy your writing ability.
The words you use are so emotive and descriptive
that I'm right there with you... in that room.
So bar the door, or we both might get out!

Truly, the new material sounds good, mega epic, melodic.
Proud I am.
Namaste,
