They sure don't have this thing you call "snow" in Florida....unless it's coming from Columbia that is!

I crack myself up.....heh, anyhow.  It's cold huh?  Portland's had a string of "crap, i'm snowed in!....shit, lemme drink!" days and i'm half drunk and half ready to not see snow.  Don't get me wrong, i'm stoked about being off (minus the lack of earning money) but i'm ready for some normalcy!

I've got a third "potential song for the new record" idea that's kinda Massive Attack-ish with a cool dancy but dark beat, an eerie synth line and a jumpy clean bassline.  Clean.....what am i thinking? 

To counter all this clean talk, i've been in fuzz/distortion pedal overdrive (not a pun i swear) lately.  Ebay is my best friend. My recent buys include an old DOD Bass Grunge pedal (it gives the dirt!) and i've got a Boss ODB-3 Bass Overdrive Pedal AAAAND a Gallien-Krueger 2001rb bass head on the way.  I'm like a kid in Toys R Us minus the whine. I might try it out for a couple of shows....you know, just for shits (the GK head that is).  By the way....if you adore fuzz bass like i do, check out www.bassfuzz.com !!  It's basically a porn site for fuzz lovin' bassists.

I'm about to chase this Stella Artois with some Henry McKenna whiskey (a ten dollar bottle of sour mash loveliness) so ya'll be safe and please keep things rocking.  Where are all the ballsy bands?  I miss the Alice in Chains and Rage Against the Machines of our past.  Sigh.
