Tech Music Schools graduate band Thunderbird 13 were proud to show the 9 million viewers of BBC’s Eastenders a real taste of Rock n Roll! Having made their on screen debut in The Queen Vic on October 22nd, Thunderbird 13 showcased their talents by performing a mind-blowing, all-out rock set for Peggy Mitchell’s punters!
Drummer Rob Emms completed the One Year Diploma at Tech Music Schools (Drumtech) earlier this year and is continuing his studies at the school on the 3 Year BMus Degree. Rob is absolutely overwhelmed with the recent success of the band and says ‘having real world teachers at Tech Music Schools has been a great advantage to my band and I. In just over a year we have gone from being an unknown band, to recording our album and appearing on Eastenders, this was all down to the tutors I met whilst studying’.
Having already started work on their debut album at Monster Trax studios, located close by to Tech Music Schools in West London, the boys are juggling their time between writing, recording and gigging.
Hoping that their phenomenal BBC appearance will help shoot them to stardom, Thunderbird 13 will be hitting Albert Square hard with a further two on screen appearances in the very near future.
