
...the rejection letter error oversight, adds a bit of humor I guess...
My application for my dream job was rejected (again). I'm not bitter about it. It's competitive. I understand.
What is interesting though is the half emails and strange messages I would receive when applying for this program. During the application process, it would ask the applicant to save, but once you did it would close out the application and make you log in again. Strange and quite annoying.
Furthermore, in my rejection letter, they seemingly half-sent it. The last few paragraphs stated the following:
"However, I have often heard from past applicants that they have been able to use parts of their application in pursuing other jobs, and I hope that, like them, you won’t feel that your work has been entirely wasted.
You should also know that the task of narrowing down applications t"
No closing statements. No "sincerely. Nothing. It just stops with a "t".
It seems that such a global ad/marketing/PR powerhouse would not have overlooked such a gross oversight. The punchline to all of this is that they sent another rejection letter with the completed paragraph. So my application was so good, they rejected me twice. Cheers guys!
Oh well. I'll keep applying.
