Current mood:  blah
hello everyone,

just a quick update on Nacional's movements........

so the tour went well, we played to lots of people in lots of fun places and made lots of new friends including Maggot from Goldie Lookin Chain. Peace out brother. We failed however, to make friends with Kaiser Chiefs. We just played pool instead. We drank lots of fun things too and I can safely say that Bollinger is best served at just above room temperature whilst strolling along a canal in North London at 9am. Cheers Lisa and Barnes. Lovely.

Cheers to the new age sex tourist that is Will Hanson for his support slots and steely nerves when faced with the long arm of the law somewhere outside Aberdeen. You can check out his album on Myspace. Eric Hall described it as "Monster" and thats good enough for me.

Thanks also to Pat, Sparks, Anya and the rest of the London massive for their support and hospitality.

Rockness was a blast, we even managed to play the Cazoo on the Main Stage. Go on Parks ya mad Buckie bastard!. A big shout too for Macca for a sterling performance behind the wheel of a less than sterling van despite an apparent lack of footwear.

We're back in Glasgow now where we have been drinking Tennents lager by ourselves because our girlfriends dont like us anymore. Its ok though, pints of Tennents dont ask you to change the channel when you're trying to enjoy another gripping instalment of Ross Kemp On Gangs.

We have also started recording our debut album with Sam Smith (Mother and the Addicts) at the helm. Its all going well and will hopefully be completed by the time we play King Tuts in August (Sat 22nd). Thats right, get yer tickets now for what promises to be a lovely evening.

Until then folks

Keep it Krishna

Jamie x

PS if anyone has any wizard ideas for the title of our new album please post them below.....

Call it:
"The Amazing Adventures of Nacional's Wantonly Erect Appendage"
Then give it a prog-rock style album cover. With orcs. And fairies.

The prog-rock cover is the way forward.  It's actually strangely appropriate considering the fact that it is a 3 disc concept album charting the rise and fall of the Ottoman Empire.

Will Hanson

Call it "Of course this was traditionally the time of year where the young maidens of the village would prepare to be courted by the hunters and noblemen of the local area, the feudal system having changed some what since...FOUR MINUTES of added time says the referee!!!"
That would work.
I'm not a sex tourist.
With MJ gone, the crown is yours for the taking boys, if you can grapple it from his cold, dead, plastic hands.
Go on blades.

Han a banana.
