Current mood:  indifferent

Its probably safe to say that no-one is ever gonna read this anyway cos we just dont seem to have the kind of fans who do the whole blog 'thing' which is a shame cos blogs are cool and other bands are having riots on theirs.  This said, plus the fact that I am at work and dont have time to think about (or double check) what I am writing means that I can say what the fuck I want without worry which should be the case anyway, but you always wonder about the influence that huuuuge underground bands like us have on the youth of today and i would therefore not want to think that we are helping such youth learn naughty words like celine dion or masticate which i dare not mention.

back on track.....what do shrugged have in the pipeline?  well, after a month or so break cos of easter pilgrimages to egypt, israel and wales we are now ready to kick ass again with a 20 min set at a Kensington all girls high school followed by a headline slot at the waterats in kings x on the 30th.  Personally, i think all girls schools are the way forward especially as I was never allowed to attend one. as a youngster the education board considered my maleness an obstacle in my fight for an all girls education.  Well rock n roll belongs with girls and synchronised swimming lives in the hearts of boys (and sheep - something i learned in wales) and the rest is all futuristic history.

thanks for listening.

Heya Tobi, Charlie here,

Havn't talked to you in ages, I hope that your trip to Egypt allowed you to look inside yourself and discover your true purpose etc etc...
Anyhoo, was just passing and felt that I should leave a comment and re-establish contact.
Minus I.Q. wise things are going well, we've just been booked to play at Clokwork and Downstairs at the Garage which is nice, I'm thinking you've played both...if so what's Clockwork like since I know pretty much nothing about it...?
Our latest recording session went well and I'm looking forward to letting you play with the tracks (although it's not me who decides anything). Besides that, congrats on getting some killer gigs! Water rats and nambuca are amazing venues I beleive, what Kensington Girls school do you speak of? If you speak the truth I've probably dabbled in the pupils there...as it were.

Anyway, I hope you're all well and good!

Charlie

xXx

wassup Charles,

all is cool.  Clockwork is potentially a great venue if you can get people along.  Good stage and a cool room though i dont remember the sound being great.  Garage downstairs is fucking great.  Great sound (FOH and monitors) and just the best 'small' venue in London in my opinion.

Egypt was tres cool - good to get away and bond with the camels and donkeys, plus i went to wales last weekend so i got some sheep action too.

Good news that the MIQ stuff is moving along.  I've kind of lost track of what you guys are/arent doing but i'm sure i will get an overexcited call from mike/jake at some point telling all.  The Kensington school is 'More House' on Pont Street.  We got the gig through a girl on myspace although we dont know much about it so waiting to hear a little more but should be good.

Good to hear from you dude.  You know i love you and live to hear your sweet voice............

x T

(smiles)  that was quite informative and hysterical to say the least.  Being an influence on the youth is a dirty job, but someone has to do it dear..who better than yourselves.

Keep on writing your blogs, If you write them, they will read.

PS...Now what is that about Wales and sheep?
