so i am a wee bit tardy on posting the Wade Bowen show update. Please except my apologies! To say we were excited about this show is a slight understatement. We've been listening to Wade's Lost Hotel record alot on the road. It's always a gas to share the stage with a band you happen to enjoy. We had a great set......everyone was on point.

I got to join Wade for Resurrecton during his set.....great fun!! A big thank you to Wade and the boys for a great time. Also, we had some fans travel a few hours to come and we love you for it!!!!
I am about head to East Atlanta to do vocals for the new record. Here's a random fun fact about Scott....I love to sing in the shower, in the car, in wal-mart, on-stage........even in a woman's ear while dancining. I DO NOT like singing in a studio. It's going to be permanent and that gets in my head. I'm not one that has any real commitment issues with anything but This is the exception. In the past I have found myself rethinking the melodies and over singing it until it becomes emotionally watered down. I get so consumed with perfection that I loose sight of what really matters.......feeling. Well people, this is not the case today. For the first time in my life I am excited to sing a record. For 2 reasons. These are songs that have been played live for so long that I know what I want to do....there is nothing to change or rethink. 2nd is that this record is not at all about being perfect. Our goal as a band was to make a record that felt good and sounded like us. Live we like to take chances. In a studio it is real easy to just play it safe to keep out the flaws. The little flaws are what gives it it's character and vibe. So, today I will take some chances vocally and try to make this these songs feel the way they were ment to and not give myself the parameters of perfection.
