Here are a few jokes that never made the monologue for a myriad of reasons. I'm not going to embarass any of the writers by saying who wrote what.

Production has stalled once again on the movie of Dallas. John Travolta & Kate Cassidy are still set to play the leads of JR and Sue Ellen. Early on they could not secure the services of J-lo and you can now add Meg Ryan, Luke Wilson, and Shirley McClaine to the list of actors that have passed on the remake of the popular 80s TV show. Despite the setbacks, Star Jones plans to keep her part, as she's set to play the role of the entire city of Dallas


(11/13/06) Gaza Striptease
For the second time in less than a year the US has vetoed a UN resolution that would condemn Israeli occupation in the Gaza strip claming that the language in the resolution was biased and politically motivated. Critics claim that the US veto was in fact biased and politically motivated to which secretary of state Condeleezza Rice responded "Oh yeah? Your mom is biased and politically motivated!"

The hit TV show "24" is back on the air, which reminds me of something else that's 24 hours of non-stop action and explosions -- Mical Trejo masturbating, ladies and gentlemen... (pause for huge, uncomfortable laughs).
