A Special Country Music Tribute for Michel Rose

Much loved Sydney based musician, Michel Rose, recently suffered a bad fall and fractured his arm while getting ready to perform a show at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. While this would be a major inconvenience for anyone, for Michel – one of the most sought after pedal steel and dobro players in the country – it was a devastating blow.

This accident will effectively put Michel out of work for at least 12 weeks and cause financial hardship to his family. As he has played on almost every major country music album release in the past 2 decades, it didn't take long for Michel's musician friends to rally and stage a benefit concert in his honor.

A stellar line-up of country music artists has been announced to perform a special tribute concert at the Revesby Workers Club on Thursday 28th February... 8pm Tickets available from the club Tel: (02) 9772 2100 www.ticketmaster.com.au

Be part of this special night when the cream of Australian country music artists come together to pay tribute to Michel Rose

• Troy Cassar-Daley • Beccy Cole • Adam Harvey • Graeme Connors • Gina Jeffreys • Sara Storer • The Flood • Jim Haynes • Felicity Urquhart • Dianna Corcoran • Travis Collins • Kirsty Lee-Akers • Anne Kirkpatrick • Stu & Camille • Amber Lawrence • Amos Morris

All artists appearing will be backed by an all-star line-up of musicians who have worked with Michel through the years including Stu French, Camille Te Nahu and Rod McCormack.
