It’s
about time Allison Brown
headed west again; it’s been almost five years since her last trip west to
record her debut CD, “Everything That Shined” at the Vancouver Island
home studio of master of musical tradition, David Essig. Allison leaves the hometown stage at London,
Ontario’s Home County Folk Festival and takes to the sky July 21st
for an adventure west including hanging out at the Islands Folk Festival,
recording her second CD at David’s and a ten-date tour back East to
London on Greyhound’s Route 5000 Schedule. Allison eagerly anticipates bringing her

Allison toured regularly through ....Ontario.... and has also performed in ....Manitoba...., B.C, and ....Quebec....; both as a soloist and with many other musical
friends. Allison was featured part of the wildly successful yearly ....Ontario.... adventure; "The Girls With Glasses
Tour", with songwriters Evalyn Parry, Eve Goldberg, and Karyn Ellis. She was also part of the Souwesto roots trio,
“The Rusty Halos”. A country warbler at
heart, Ms. Brown lended vocals to London's bluegrass quartet "The Goin'
Concern" at festivals, backyard parties and the ruckus raised on Bluegrass
Sunday night every week at the Alex P Keaton for over three years. ....
