Never had he wished before today that he could just disappear, like a wind that could pass by unnoticed. He just kept staring at the old clock on the wall across the room, listening to the agonizing ticks as they slowly moved time forward against his will.
Crash…..Bang…..BOOM!!!!
“What the hell is she doing!!” he yelled to the room as he slammed hist fist on the desk. Within moments smoke had begun to fill the room and his eyes began to burn. Quickly Toshiro ran for the window and jumped out of it into the fresh air. Looking around he could see his squad, half wincing in the pain from their eyes, and half laughing in victory. Toshiro’s eyes scanned over the crowd until he spotted the person he KNEW was responsible for all of this.
“NARUMI!!!!” he yelled as he made his way to the pink haired half pint who was grinning widely at him.
“What the hell did you do this time!!!!!” He yelled as he grabbed a hold of her arm so that she couldn’t escape, something that she was famous for.
“Hey no need to get mad cap,’ she slyly grinned at him, ‘we were just playing around on which team could create teargas the fastest.”
“Its captain Hitsugaya to you, and who authorized this little experiment because I know that I as hell didn’t.”
“Aww come on, we were having a bit of fun, and everybody was into it, we were building a lil teamwork.”
“Yeah everyday this week you have been doing something or another, cut the crap Narumi, you are a lieutenant and…”
“And I must act accordingly blah blah blah , you know captain, all work and no play makes jack a dull boy” she grinned again.
Boy was she annoying to him, all week ever since she had become his lieutenant she had been nothing but trouble. Hell she had become a thorn in his side, but for some reason he could never seem to win against her, no matter how hard he wanted to discipline her like he did the rest of his squad, he just couldn’t seem to.” With a long sigh he released the hold on her arm and she landed on the ground with a soft thud.
“Whatever I have work to do, make sure you clean this mess up, and you will be managing the afternoon training to the next week.”
“Yes Captain Toshiro man sir!!!!” she said with a half laid salute.
With that Toshiro slowly walked back to his office. Passing by her room he stopped outside the door. He had labeled this room off limits, and even made Narumi pick another room. He wanted this room to stay untouched for eternity, to keep some form of that life. He continued on to his room and walked over to his desk. Instantly he noticed that all of the papers that he was working on were filed in a neat pile with all of the signatures and notations on them.
“When did she…..” He had only been away from her for a few minutes. Almost cracking a smile, he grabbed the papers and tied them neatly in a string……
“Hmm, maybe she is good for something after all.”
