ok, so I was at my tattoo shop talking with the Big Cheese (Pops). A customer walks in and they start catching up on life (they hadn't seen each other in a while so I sit quietly in the corner as per usual. I overheard Pops talking about his daughter and saying "Yeah, she was always weird... LIKE STEPH over here [points to me] ... she's going to Oxford, always knew what she wanted to do, always wanted to be a lawyer..."

I zone out and I have an epiphany:

"weird" people are "weird" because they WANT to be that way. They KNOW they want to be that way. You see, normal people are normal because they DON'T know what they want so they follow a crowd. You know, try to be all "normal" and shit.
