Planned Parenthood Teen Advisory Groups include dedicated teen activists who want to make a difference in their community. These groups take responsibility for contacting their legislators about matters of reproductive health, and work to ensure that Michigan citizens have access to emergency contraception, family planning, and real sex education.
Teen Advisory Groups around the state can make a big difference in how legislators vote, whether their community is aware of emergency contraception (the "morning after" pill), and whether local pharmacies stock and fill prescriptions for emergency contraception and birth control.
If you want to get involved, contact us to find out about the next meeting in your community.
