I`ve grown, matured, and learned somethings since this Natural disaster hit my hometown  I`ve learned that family is important, and true love is unconditional... When I say "unconditional" I mean; under any circumstance! Meaning you are willing to sacrafice your all for that person without question... Selflessness. Willing to except that person with their faults and actions of the past... Forgiveness. Believing in that person at time of need and redemption... Trust. Knowing and understanding that person`s heart... Comfort. Being able to open your heart without thought... Honesty. The kinda love that Jesus Christ has for us... Pure. That goes for family, friends, or your S.O.S.

I understand what you mean and it's true that it all equals unconditional love but what you failed to mention that is especially important for the younger ladies to know is that you can love someone unconditionally without staying with them if it is an unhealthy relationship.

I couldn't agree with you more. I feel that sometimes when bad things happen, u get to see things in a whole new light. I can understand the way you view love as something that would be considered unconditional. I never really looked at it in that way. Thankfully I can see it now from a different perspective. U must be one very rare person. I'm glad to see someone with so much drive and ambition. Keep it up, and reach for the stars! Lata!!

I suffered from that same disaster and during the recovery phase I also had to heal mentally and most of all physically. I found out who my real friends were, what family really is and how life can change so quickly.

I thought through all of that I had my Some One Special but as soon as he saw I was on my feet, he walked away from me. My life is better without him and right now being single is a painful thing (cause I just hate it in general) but I live my life for me and I learned to LOVE MYSELF FIRST.

You can't love anyone unconditionally until you love yourself completely.
