Current mood: exhausted
Hi all --
One last reminder that this coming Friday and Saturday, April 11th and 12th, are the final two public performances of my solo comedy "Circumference" at Old Arizona Studio, running as the late-night after Interact’s "Broken Brain Summit". If you’ve seen "Circumference" already, in any of its incarnations or locations, thankyou thankyou thankyou for doing so. I am sure I loved having you in my audience, and I hope your hands didn’t bleed from all that enthusiastic clapping, and I also hope you’re still wearing your "Circumference" t-shirt, carrying your "Circumference" lunchbox and playing with your "Circumference" action figure (with animatronic jogging motion!), since those were all VERY (very!) limited-run collectables and have probably at least doubled in value by now. (Remember that if the lunchbox has started retaining odors, a little vinegar and baking soda swished around in there will do the trick.)
If you HAVEN’T seen "Circumference", seriously, dudes, now is the time. There is humor, there is sadness, there is me aerobicizing all over the freakin’ stage and sweating like you have NEVER seen a female person sweat before (don’t worry, I make sure you can’t smell me — note vinegar and baking soda, above), there are hard truths and embarrassing confessions and hyperbolic gym teachers and even some slightly educational info about bariatric surgery. There are set pieces that, karmically, coordinate with the "Broken Brain" set so it looks like we planned it or something, and there is the cutest, tiniest approximation of a treadmill ever.
It’s a real show now...and it’s about to hit the road for Calgary, Ottawa, Winnipeg and a few other locales, and I would LOVE you to see it before it goes, especially because I won’t be here for our Fringe this year.
SOOOooo...all details are below. You are of COURSE invited to see "Broken Brain Summit" as well, which is a fantastic production...and you’ll notice that you get a deal if you see both shows! Please write if you have any questions, thanks for all your support past, present and future, and hope to see you this weekend at "Circumference"!
