"A post-rock shoegazing mood piece perfect for a drowsy windows-open summer evening." - All Music Guide

absolutely engaging storm of electronic manipulation and organic musical craftsmanship. -Aversion

...Remarkably consistent...It's a heavenly sound - UNDER THE RADAR

This project furthers the work both have previously done...From the beginning, Dimpsey and Fein demonstrate how gracefuly they manage to steer clear of genre pigeon-holes. Sunblown is full of space-filled, shamble-to-float atmospheres. - The Speed of Silence

A very complete package - Emusic

Gazelle is Jeff Dimpsey and Adam Fein. From these two I really expected nothing less than brilliance, and brilliance is exactly what I got with Sunblown. - 5Acts

It is no surprise given the list of projects these two have been involved in that the musicianship, and sound quality on this debut album is top notch. What does surprise me is the way these two qualities were paired so well with such a variety of sounds, genres and moods...Listen, you can slice this album up and classify it into all kinds of genres, but ultimately, you'd be missing the point. This is just plain good music. Sunblown serves as an excellent demonstration of Gazelle's talent in a variety of fields and I hope they only continue to get better. Listen for yourself. -KaffeineBuzz

Sunblown is a cool, atmospheric, post-gaze treat from a duo comprised of notable veterans of the Champaign-Urbana, Illinois scene, Jeff Dimpsey (Hum, National Skyline, Poster Children) and Adam Fein (of underrated, now defunct, space rockers Absinthe Blind)...a handsome and well-crafted debut indicating the sustained fecundity of the Midwest -Skyscraper Magazine (NYC)
